Writing is an integral part of Anthropology 307. Over the course of the semester, students are asked to prepare essays that explore human-nature relationships within the world. The first essay describes a balanced/sustainable human-nature relationship. The second essay describes a threat to this relationship, and the third essay describes potential solutions to this threat. In the following section, we have provided final papers, which are integrated essays of the previously described essays. We have selected these essays as representations of what we consider to be outstanding examples of critical thinking.
