Goals:

This unit will familarize you with

1. the concepts of distance learning and use of technology to link people and resources.
2. the instructional activities that integrate technology using either a single subject or a multidisciplinary approach.

   Objectives:

   When you have finished this unit, you will be able to:

   1. identify various linking options that can support educational activities.
   2. identify issues surrounding your particular discipline when attempting to integrate technology into the curriculum.
   3. Implement these concepts in the development of your course project.

Lesson:

1. Read the following chapters in your textbook:
• Chapter 9
• Chapter 10
• Chapter 11-15, selecting the particular chapter of interest to you. In the event none of the chapters 11-15 pertain to you, then use the Internet to find similar material to assist you in developing your final project.
