- Entry behaviors (specific)
- Attitudes toward content and delivery system
- Aptitudes, Intelligence
- Academic motivation (attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction)
- General educational and ability levels
- General learning preferences (e.g. Lecture/discussion, Problem-based learning (PBL))
- Attitudes toward the organization
- Group characteristics (heterogeneity, size, and overall impressions of the group)
- Involvement
- Responsibility for learning (self directed to pursue a goal)
