Using national survey data from 3rd through 12th grade teachers of academic subjects, Becker identifies 44 teachers as exemplary computer-using teachers. Four factors in the teaching environment were identified as being more likely to be present. Also identified were certain factors in the teachers' backgrounds which correlated with their being exemplary computer-users.
