My Great Granddad, Joe

This is his father  Joe.   Joe and his wife were born on a reservation.  They were living during "allotment."  That's when the US government broke up the reservation and created Oklahoma.  Joe worked for a store and rode to farms to collect money.

London's mother and father died while walking on the "Trail of Tears."  They were from Cussetah, a town in what is now Alabama.
