Ingredients:
- Corn
- Lye
You can buy lye
(from the Muscogee Nation gift shop.) It is made from the ashes
of the Post Oak tree. Ashes are collected in a sieve and
washed with water.

Preparation:
- Boil water in large pot.
- Add corn.
- After water reboils add
lye until corn turns orange.
- Continue to boil until
corn is soft. Add water as required.
- Eat fresh or let set several
days till it sours.
