they are all savages

I think that the movie industry has all the wrong facts about Indians. I don't think the
Indians wanted to go to war at all. In my eyes the Indians were very spiritual, and just
wanted to live in peace with eachother, and other people who might come to their land.
And I think the reason the people who went to the Indians'land wanted to go to war with
the Indians is because they were different.

Of course, the movie industry will portray Indians as heartless, uncompassionate, uncivilized maniacs which is a false representation. I feel that this is something that should be stopped, because it just leads to stereotypes which in turn leads to ignorance. Peace

Movies have given Native Americans a bad reputation. First of all, not all Natives ran around half naked chasing the White people and cutting off their scalps. Second, I believe the word "savage" better describes the people of the White race in those movies. In a way our Native ancestors and war heros have been mocked by most movies.

COWBOY AND INDIAN MOVIES PRESENT INDIANS AS RUTHLESS SAVAGES WITH NO FEELINGS OR MORALS. IF MY RESEARCH HAS SHOWN ME ANYTHING IT IS THE INDIANS CUTURAL AND MORAL STRENGTHS TEND TO GO BEYOND FINACIAL GAIN. WITH A STRONG BOND TO TRADITION THAT WAS DEVOID IN ALOT OF THE EARLY WHITE SETTLERS
