Donald E. Myers

CHEMDYNE

This is a soil contamination data set, taken from

TUCSON WATER

This is a water chemistry data set, taken from a UA MS thesis (hydrology) 1984. All analyses were obtained using GEOEAS. The sum-difference variables were generated using TRANS (a component of GEOEAS) as a tool for modeling the symmetric cross variogram for Calcium-Sodium.

Calcium

There are six result screens or graphical presentations

(i) Coded plot of the data locations (coded by the concentration of Calcium)

(ii) Basic statistics

(iii)Histogram

(iv) Q-Q plot (visual check on normality)

(v) Variogram computations and model plotted in next graph

(vi) Plot of sample variogram with model overplotted

Sodium

(i) Coded plot of the data locations (coded by the concentration of Sodium)

(ii) Basic statistics

(iii) Histogram

(iv) Q-Q plot (visual check on normality)

(v) Variogram computations and model plotted in next graph

(vi) Plot of sample variogram with model overplotted

Calcium ± Sodium A. Sum

(i) Coded plot of the data locations (coded by the sum of theconcentrations)

(ii) Basic statistics

(iii) Histogram

(iv) Q-Q plot (visual check on normality)

(v) Variogram computations and model plotted in next graph

(vi)Plot of sample variogram with model overplotted

B. Difference

(i) Coded plot of the data locations (coded by the sum of theconcentrations)
