Candidate qualifications being equal, preference will be given first to students enrolled in the GEMS Graduate Certificate Program and then to members of GEMS. Should there not be any GEMS applicants for this position, we will consider hiring outside the GEMS membership. To join GEMS, contact Kari Boyd McBride at kari@email.arizona.edu.

Compensation will be in the amount of $1000 per semester. Should funding become available to award the Graduate Assistant a quarter-time position, we will notify the candidate as soon as possible. In that case, compensation will be determined by the student's status and progress to degree but will in no case be lower than the student would earn in her or his home department.

Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until a suitable candidate has been hired.
