Group Quiz in Class
This quiz was different because there were no questions given, below are the directions to the quiz:
Your assignment is to design a quiz for another group to take (group quiz only). One question should come from Dream Worlds II, one from Zones, “Beauty Myths and Realites,” and one from Gershick and Miller, “Coming to Terms.” A good quiz will have questions that cover a range of difficulty, asking for main ideas, or for analysis of an argument, or for synthesis with concepts we’ve come across in other readings or videos. Sometimes questions ask for more than one critical thinking skill. No question should ever ask for small details.
There are, as always, six points possible for this quiz, 3 for the quiz you make up and 3 for the quiz you take. All members present in each group will earn the same grade. For the remainder of the period we created the quizzes and each group took a quiz created be another group.

Quiz 5

Note: Turn in all pages of what you did Resource Report 2 on.
Miss World, as reported in the New York Times, was Miss Nigeria. It was the first year that Nigeria won. This year Nigeria changed their contestant to look like a Western Society woman (skinny) instead of a more plump woman that is desired in Nigeria.

Professor McBride found that Antonia's Line was the one movie that strayed from the typical "I want to be raped" attitude of women in most movies. She wants to make time in the syllabus and show it in class. It contains nudity, sex and violence. If you don‚t want to see it, email Professor McBride and tell her.
Monday we will watch the first part of the Full Monty. It's a movie that challenges gender roles and desires. Don‚t miss the beginning or it will be harder to follow!

Quiz
as a group we made up a three question quiz for another group to take. One question was to be about the video Dream Worlds II, one was about Gerschick and Miller, "Coming to Terms" (109-22), and the other was about Zones, "Beauty Myths and Realities" (87-103). Making up a quiz was worth three points and taking the group quiz was worth three points.
