• Note these updates: the review session for the final exam will be at 5:00 p.m. on Mon 12/10 in our usual classroom.
• Lee's office hours will be Tue/Thu 9:30-10:30 a.m., and by appointment, between now and the final exam.
• The final exam is from 8-10 a.m. on Tue 12/11 in our usual classroom. The final exam is cumulative. It will not cover distinguishing arguments from non-arguments, but everything else is "fair game".
• The second argument analysis assignment has been posted in e-res. It is optional. If you choose to do it, it is due in hard copy no later than the final exam for this course (late admissions cannot be accepted).
  
• The first argument analysis was due on Thu 11/15. If you have not yet handed it in, you may do so, with a late penalty, at or before the final exam. After the final exam, submissions will not be accepted. Argument analyses must be submitted in hard copy.
  
• Examples of argument analyses have been posted in Electronic Reserves. What you need to hand in is an analysis itself -- i.e., the argument(s) presented in premise/conclusion format (in the examples, these are in the tables with borders). Please do not copy and hand in the original passage you have chosen to analyze. The examples also have a "discussion" section that explains the analysis. If you wish to add a section like this to your own assignment, you are welcome to do so, and if you do a good job of explaining the choices you made, this may help your grade. However, a "discussion" section is optional.
