Lucas S. Premo: GIS Teaching Module Author
Luke Premo received his B.A. in anthropology from Colorado State University in 1999 and his M.A. in anthropology from the University of Arizona in 2001. The bulk of his fieldwork took place over several years at a number of Archaic sites on the western slope and front range of Colorado's Rocky Mountains. Luke has been applying GIS to archaeological research problems for three years. Recently he has used GIS technology to create a predictive archaeological model for Late Archaic Period sites in the Tucson Basin and to study Late Archaic landuse strategies in the same project area.
