Same as earlier until the NLII fellowship began and initiated the research and collaboration on MOATS; and the conversion of WebCT to Desire2Learn as a campus Course Management System(CMS). Developed the entire website for the new CMS, collaborated on the training plan; and initiated a five state-wide institute collaboration initiative to work with D2L for large university needs..

Educational Technologist, Sr.  - McDonnell-Douglas, Tucson Air National Guard. 1997-1998. Team Leader. Supervised development of computer-based training (CBT) modules for F-16 fighter pilots. Responsible for scheduling, budgeting, oversight of Subject Matter Expert (SME), instructional-designer time, graphic-artist, medial-artist, and hardware time with the national goals and base security needs for the training manuals and modules.

 

Program Coordinator – Ramstein Air Base, Germany. 1990 – 1993. Recruited, trained, & scheduled the volunteers (over 300) and staff (24) for 3 chapels (the largest population of Americans residing outside of the continental United States – Ramstein, Vogelweh, & Kaiserslautern); Researched, coordinated, collaborated, and mentored on program development. In addition, was responsible for budgeting, planning, monthly & annual reports, and archives to the military finance offices.

           

Media and Instructional Projects

Module Organizer & Teaching System (MOATS),

An ongoing project, which my NLII fellowship has taken from the conception stage into the research & exploration stage.  The purpose is to provide assistance in theoretically-based instructional design, teaching activities, and learning modules. MOATS is to provide user-friendly access to resources integrated into CMS’s at national levels.             Envisioned, planned, collaborated, developed, & recruited international community of higher education professionals with the domain to focus on the initial phase of a national project to bridge research and practice for the purpose of the transformation of teaching and learning with technology. 2004.

EDUCAUSE Western Regional Conference

Served on the Program Committee for the inaugural conference, as the Corporate Chair. Read, reviewed, revised and advised on the applicability of the corporations’ proposals for the regional audience who was expected to attend. Recruited conveners. 2004.
