Educational Technologist, Sr. - McDonnell-Douglas, Tucson Air National Guard. 1997-1998. Team Leader. Supervised development of computer-based training (CBT) modules for F-16 fighter pilots. Responsible for scheduling, budgeting, oversight of Subject Matter Expert (SME), instructional-designer time, graphic-artist, medial-artist, and hardware time with the national goals and base security needs for the training manuals and modules.
Program Coordinator – Ramstein Air Base, Germany. 1990 – 1993. Recruited, trained, & scheduled the volunteers (over 300) and staff (24) for 3 chapels (the largest population of Americans residing outside of the continental United States – Ramstein, Vogelweh, & Kaiserslautern); Researched, coordinated, collaborated, and mentored on program development. In addition, was responsible for budgeting, planning, monthly & annual reports, and archives to the military finance offices.
Module Organizer & Teaching System (MOATS),
An ongoing project, which my NLII fellowship has taken from the conception stage into the research & exploration stage. The purpose is to provide assistance in theoretically-based instructional design, teaching activities, and learning modules. MOATS is to provide user-friendly access to resources integrated into CMS’s at national levels.
