This is an excellent site from an organization which provides what is probably the best overall range of services in support of birding in SE Arizona. The site is exquisite looking and well organized, with intuitive navigation and complete information. SABO offers several programs specifically related to hummingbirds, including the opportunity for volunteers to participate in banding activities in support of migration studies.

The Nature Conservancy owns several properties in Southeastern Arizona which are prime habitat for many species, including hummingbirds. These are the Canelo Hills Ciénaga, Patagonia/Sonoita Creek, and Ramsey Canyon Preserves. The site includes very good information on the birding opportunities which exist on the preserves. Several guided tours are offered, and accomodations are available at Ramsey Canyon. The seasonal nature of the birding opportunities is described by month.

This company offers quite a few scheduled tours at various times of the year, each with a slightly different focus. Only one is billed specifically as a hummingbird tour, but many of the others prominently list hummingbirds in the general list of birds that may be sighted. Wings 1998 offers details of a trip to the deserts of the southwest, including Southeastern Arizona, and to various other birding tours to southeastern Arizona.
