FORMAT:
All of the exams are multiple choice. Each exam will have 50 questions, each worth 2 points, for a total of 100 points. You will be given 1 hour to complete the exam. You may not use your book or your notes during the exam.

HOW IT WORKS:
Once you are ready to take an exam, make arrangements by calling the Correspondence Office at 626-4229 or by submitting the Request-A-Test form included on this website.

  1. If you live in the Tucson area, you may take exams at the UA Correspondence Office Testing Center, Extended University, 888 N. Euclid. Call 626-4229 to make arrangements. You must bring your picture ID. No exam will be given without a picture ID.
  2. If you live at a distance, follow the instructions on the Request-A-Test form(s) included in this manual.

You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your system! If you do not, you can download it for free at:

Exam One (Modules 1-3)
Problem Sheet and Request-A-Test

Exam Two (Modules 4-7)
Problem Sheet and Request-A-Test

Exam Three (Modules 8-10)
Problem Sheet and Request-A-Test

HOW TO STUDY:
The exam questions require you to know certain facts, such as the names of important archaeologists, dates, site names, etc. Write down the important terms listed at the end of each module, and then go through the Web site/lecture notes/readings and identify each of the items. If you write down whatever you can find about the terms, then you should do well on the exam. HOWEVER, THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT EVERY BIT OF INFORMATION COVERED IN THE EXAMS IS LISTED IN THE IMPORTANT TERMS.
