Writing Resources at Profcomm
What Writing Resources does Profcomm offer? Members of Profcomm gain access to the work of The Profcomm Center, an organization of students and instructors in Business and Technical Writing at the University of Arizona. Our purpose at The Center is to study the use of communications technologies and practices in professional and community settings and to examine the implications of using particular professional communication strategies.
Who can utilize the Center's resources?
While the Center's primary generative energy comes from the writing courses at the University of Arizona, it is chiefly a link between students, their research, and outside organizations. Through our partnerships with local non-profit organizations and businesses, we thoroughly research communications technologies and then make recommendations for ways to use those technologies that will help members of organizations communicate more effectively with each other and with their constituents.
