Dear Mr. Menchaca:
Thank you for granting me an internship with the Profcomm Center. This opportunity to learn about communication in the professional environment is an honor, and I will do my best to complete the tasks required. My knowledge of word processing and business writing should be an asset to the Profcomm Center. However, if I need assistance, the opportunity to learn and acquire new information on performing the tasks is a welcoming challenge. I look forward to helping the Profcomm Center create partnerships between instructors, students, and community organizations, and become a technical resource for professional communication.
This internship is about communication, which is the foundation of professional correspondences and organizations and the general structure of most business situations. The duties that encompass this internship include using technology to learn about different forms of communication and their uses and then applying them for the benefit of the Profcomm Center. Working with the other interns on projects is also expected, and I feel that this will allow everyone to reach high levels of success. Cooperation is itself an important form of communication, and I look forward to taking advantage of it.
Once again, thank you for this opportunity. I look forward to working with you and the other interns and I hope my contributions will help make the Profcomm Center an informative organization for future students and interns. The Profcomm Center will receive only my best efforts, and my application portfolio should project that at the end of this semester. Please contact me through email at tlh@u.arizona.edu if you need me for anything.
Sincerely,
Jane Doe
