The Women's Studies Writing Center offers conferences to any student working on materials for a Women's Studies class. The conferences may focus on any stage of the writing process, including everything from brainstorming to revision. As a result, we share their philosophy that students' writing will improve if discussed in a "non-judgmental, informal atmosphere." Peer consultants meet with students to discuss their writing, raise questions, and model successful writing strategies. We are a drop-in center, which means we do not generally take appointments. We are glad to see students during the following hours: |
